The 'Fairytale' Summer House.
We used Elm 'Wainy Lap'-style boards to clad the exterior and Sweet Chestnut in the same style inside this summerhouse. We laid the tongue and groove floor using Elm also, showing off its beautiful colours and grains when planed to a smooth finish. This garden hideaway is fully insulated and has electricity so that it can even be used as guest accomodation.
A Thai Pavilion
Built as a viewing platform with Elm boards and seats and a Cedar 'shingle' (tiled) roof. The decking platforms ascending to the pavilion lead through dense jungle on a curve that is part of a 25m wide circular walk around this part of the garden.
